I will teach my daughters to be Princesses

Anyone catching the theme of my blog posts lately?
Does anyone watch the youtube videos im posting?
Anyway, this is so inspiring I think and such a POSITIVE outlook on Disney and how it IS beneficial to the development and character building of our children. (ok ... in my case my future children, hopefully). Some people think Disney teaches young girls poor values but I completely disagree as long as you are ACTIVELY discussing the positive attribute of Disney princess to your kids while you're watching it with them.
What do you think of this? Are you a Disney princess?

oh btw on a different note... we did not get a dog. Sorry I never updated, I rented a puppy for Clark's birthday! Great present for puppy hungry couples like me and clark :)

  1. Kaylee!! I LOVE this. Thank you so much for sharing! My Grandpa has always called me Princess and I remember telling someone that in Elementary School and they thought it was stupid, because princesses aren't real. This is a great way to define princesses and I think it's so important to let girls believe in those core lessons taught through Disney movies; princesses ARE real, they just don't always wear a crown. I love that you shared this video. Thank you!

  2. Love it. Jack calls all his daughters his princesses. Nothing wrong with remembering your divine heritage. (And how fun you rented a dog! A dog is on my list to get this year).
